INFORMATION ON THE APPLICATION OF VAT AND THE TOURISM TAX
The following is information of interest to you concerning taxes:
Local Taxes (Tourism Tax): For reservations with check in from 1st of November 2012 going onwards, Catalonia Government will be applying daily city tax equal to 1 EUR per person and night to be paid directly at the hotel. Children up to 16 years old are exempted. The city tax will not be applied beyond the 8th night stay.
Value Added Tax (VAT). Any variation in VAT or any other new tax will be paid in equal parts by the contracting parties.
